🎨 Artist by any other name 👩🏿 🎨
🎨 The 1st of many artistic milestones in my career. 🎨
I value spirituality & the threads that connect us to our ancestral roots. This piece represents many "FIRSTS" in my art career. She is the 1st piece I created as an experiment in my signature style using celluclay, she is the 1st piece entered into a competition outside of school and took 1st place! She is the 1st piece I ever exhibited in a gallery, the 1st piece of mine to grace the cover of a local art publication and she is a constant reminder of empowerment in my life where I become more mindful of my choices and try to make every interaction positive.
I gave this piece the Greek name "Medusa" because it means "to protect".
Protect your heart, your soul, your divine spiritual energy!
